Gunsan University in Jeollabuk-do signed an agreement with POONGLIM Pharmatech Inc. which gained a reputation for K-injectors at its university headquarters on the 16th.

The signing ceremony was attended by Gunsan University President Kwak Byung-sun, Yang Hyun-ho, head of the Foreign Cooperation Division, Kim Young-chul, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Division, Chung Geun-mok, head of the Employment Support Division, Poonglim Pharmatech Cho Mi-hee, and Kim David, vice president of management strategy.

The two organizations decided to cooperate with each other in exchange and education in the field of research and development of medical device technology, field training for students, and job support.

Vice President Cho Mi-hee said, "I felt the importance of connecting local universities and companies while running the company," and added, "I hope this agreement will create a virtuous cycle of cooperation that provides a new vision through technical support, R&D, and employee retraining."

President Kwak said, "POONGLIM Pharmatech is a medical device manufacturer that produces medical tools, chemical devices, and medical syringes," adding, "It has been certified as a global leader by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation and certified as a leader in Jeollabuk-do, and in particular, the development team was selected as the No. 1 Korean New Deal."

Gunsan University plans to join hands with POONGLIM Pharmatech to cultivate local talents. We hope that the agreement will increase the capabilities of the two institutions to create more synergy effects, he added.
